While on a xeno-archaeological expedition on an abandoned planetoid, scientist Xanthe Alemist discovered ancient Darrian artefacts. The curious Xanthe bonded with the hypertech relics, which gave her incredible abilities, enhanced strength, senses and reflexes, and enabled her to create powerful energy shields. Her ship, the Starfire, is a sleek, sophisticated Darrian yacht. Xanthe became one of the most iconic heroes of the Imperium, her odyssey taking her across the Spinward Marches, Darrian space and beyond.
